パシクル沼を眺めながら峠を越えると白糠の町並みが歓迎してくれる。潮風とたわむれながらさらに海辺を東へ進む。音別から釧路まで50km、そろそろ一休みしたい。幣舞橋岸壁に車を止め、ＭＯＯでコーヒータイムなんていうのもＧＯＯＤ！昆布森海岸はまるで謎解きのような地名とロウソク岩などたくさんの奇岩が波しぶきとともに物語を教えてくれる。尾幌から国道に出る前に立ち寄りたいのが尻羽岬。ここからの眺めは絶景である。	ギリシャを思わせる厚岸の町が向こうに見える。厚岸大橋を渡り、あやめヶ原、琵琶瀬を通る霧多布までの北太平洋シーサイドライン。白い綿帽子をかぶったワタスゲや黄とも橙ともみえるエゾカンゾウが咲き乱れる霧多布湿原と断崖絶壁に打ちつける太平洋の荒波を同時に見渡せる。厚岸大橋から霧多布市街まで39km、約1時間。陸と海との接点を水平線と会話しながらゆるやかに走る爽快感はなにものにもかえがたい。
When you cross the pass as you look down at Lake Pashikuru, Shiranuka Town welcomes you. Travel 50 km further eastward in the sea breeze from Onbetsu to Kushiro and you may want a break. Why not park on the wharf by Nusamai Bridge for coffee at MOO! The enigmatic place names of Konbumori Beach, and strangely-shaped rocks, such as Candle Rock, in breaking waves tell fascinating stories. Cape Shirepa is another place to visit before you get onto the national route from Oboro. The view is truly magnificent. You can see Akkeshi, which looks like a Greek town.	The Seaside Route passes over Akkeshi Great Bridge and through Ayamegahara and Biwase to reach Kiritappu. In one sight you can see both Kiritappu Marsh, with cotton grass that seems to be wearing white cotton capes and Ezokanzo (a day lily) of yellow or orange, and rough Pacific waves pounding the steep cliff. It is 39 km from Akkeshi Great Bridge to Kiritappu town-an hour's ride. The refreshing feeling of driving leisurely where land and sea meet, while conversing with the horizon, is more satisfying than anything.
