On the Kushiro and Tobetsu rivers, Teshikaga is a gateway to Akan, Mashu and Kussharo lakes. Just outside town, stroll in vast white-birch woods. In the coldest season, diamond dust at Kawayu Hot Spring creates a fantasic world of snow, ice and light.
