 ・雄阿寒岳登山阿寒湖の東側にあり、標高1,371ｍの休火山。山麓一帯は、日本でも数少ない原生林。山頂付近には高山植物の花畑がある。 ●Climbing Mt. Oakan This is located on the east side of Lake Akan and is a 1,371-m-high dormant volcano. Around the summit is natural flower garden of alpine plants. |

 ・阿寒湖畔遊歩道エコミュージアムセンターを起点に阿寒湖畔にのびた1,500ｍの遊歩道には、途中に石川啄木、松浦武四郎の碑がある。 ●Akan Lakeside Strolling Path This 1,500-m path starts from the eco museum center and extends to the shore of Lake Akan, Monuments of Takuboku Ishikawa and Takeshiro Matsuura are found along the path. |

 ・雌阿寒岳登山標高1,499mｎ．阿寒湖畔コースと野中温泉コースオンネトーコースの3つのコースがある。山頂からは、はるか大雪の山並みまで望める。 ●Climbing Mt. Meakan The summit is 1,499 m above sea level. Akan Lakeside Trail, Nonaka Hot Spring Trail lead to the summit, which commands a view of the faraway Taisetsu mountains. |
